Prime Minister Narendra Modi used the BRICS outreach session to argue that the grouping's credibility in the Global South depends on whether it delivers practical cooperation rather than only declarations.
He announced proposals including an integrated early-warning system for infectious diseases, a logistics supply-chain cooperation framework, a startup innovation fund and centres of excellence in agro-ecology and energy storage.
