China के foreign ministry ने 11 सितंबर को कहा कि President Xi Jinping की BRICS summit के लिए India visit के दौरान Prime Minister Narendra Modi और Xi की bilateral meeting की तैयारी चल रही है.
यह meeting ऐसे समय हो रही है जब दोनों देशों ने वर्षों की border tensions के बाद ties को stabilize करने की कोशिश की है. लेकिन trade, technology, investment screening और security policy पर mistrust अभी भी बना हुआ है.
