World Circular Economy Forum 2026 Gandhinagar में 'Circular Economy: Transition for People and Prosperity' theme के साथ शुरू हुआ. Event 15 से 18 September तक चलेगा और governments, industry तथा experts को साथ लाता है.
Circular economy का core idea new materials की extraction कम करना है - product life extend करके, repair और reuse improve करके, materials recover करके और production systems से waste design out करके.
India के लिए यह सिर्फ environmental agenda नहीं है. इसका असर urban waste management, industrial competitiveness, critical-material security और repair, recycling तथा remanufacturing jobs पर पड़ता है.
