UIDAI ने native apps के लिए Aadhaar face authentication SDK और sandbox खोला

UIDAI ने Aadhaar face authentication के लिए नया software development kit और sandbox environment पेश किया है, जिससे authorised entities service को native mobile applications में अधिक सीधे integrate कर सकती हैं. Update developer access बेहतर करने के लिए है, जबकि liveness और anti-spoofing controls बनाए रखने की कोशिश की गई है.

Face authentication और open-crowd facial recognition एक ही चीज नहीं हैं. Aadhaar authentication में live face को defined identity-verification workflow के भीतर match किया जाता है, न कि unrestricted population database में search किया जाता है. Technology और privacy analysis दोनों के लिए यह distinction महत्वपूर्ण है.
