DARPG's September 2026 CPGRAMS report says Central Ministries and Departments disposed of 2,38,579 public grievances while receiving 2,27,837 new cases. The month ended with 85,687 pending cases, and the average grievance-disposal time reported for 2026 was 13 days. Monthly Central disposal has now remained above one lakh for 51 consecutive months.
The platform also shows how grievance administration is being linked with access and feedback. In September, 12,996 grievances came through Common Service Centres, and the system recorded 92,822 new users. A separate States and Union Territories report recorded 1,15,168 grievances redressed against 99,134 received, while State/UT pendency remained much larger than the Central figure.
For civil-services preparation, disposal volume is only one dimension of administrative accountability. Quality of resolution, repeat grievances, appeal outcomes, accessibility and departmental learning matter alongside speed. CPGRAMS is therefore useful as an example of digital governance where performance measurement must combine throughput with citizen satisfaction and substantive redress.
