Exercise Tarang Shakti 2026 Indian Air Force द्वारा Jodhpur में 26 सितंबर से 12 अक्टूबर तक आयोजित किया जा रहा है। Defence Ministry ने 10 अक्टूबर को बताया कि Australia, Bangladesh, France, Germany, Sri Lanka, UAE और United States की air forces भाग ले रही हैं तथा 32 अन्य observer nations भी जुड़े हैं।
Exercise अलग-अलग fighter, transport और refuelling platforms को साथ लाता है और अलग doctrines, command systems तथा equipment के बीच familiarity बढ़ाने का उद्देश्य रखता है। इसका policy value interoperability और defence diplomacy में है, formal alliance बनाने में नहीं।
Multinational exercises operational coordination सुधार सकते हैं, लेकिन वे joint command, treaty obligations या future basing स्वतः तय नहीं करते।
UPSC के लिए Tarang Shakti strategic partnerships, air-power modernisation और defence diplomacy का उदाहरण है। मुख्य distinction practical interoperability और formal collective-security commitments के बीच है।
