India की Financial Intelligence Unit ने 15 virtual digital asset service providers को alleged anti-money-laundering non-compliance पर notices जारी किए हैं. यह कार्रवाई crypto intermediaries को उस reporting architecture के भीतर लाने की कोशिश का हिस्सा है जिसका इस्तेमाल suspicious financial flows detect करने के लिए किया जाता है.
Legal point को गलत समझना आसान है. इस कार्रवाई से India ने virtual digital assets पर blanket ban नहीं लगाया है. इसके बजाय specified VDA activities पर Prevention of Money Laundering Act के तहत registration, customer due diligence और reporting जैसी obligations लागू होती हैं.
