The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances is launching the Special Campaign 6 web portal on September 16 to track progress across 84 central ministries and departments.

The preparatory phase runs from September 16 to 30, followed by an implementation phase from October 2 to 31. This year's campaign places specific emphasis on the collection, segregation and disposal of electronic waste alongside cleanliness and reduction of administrative pendency.

The governance value of such campaigns depends on measurement quality. Dashboards can make targets visible, but meaningful improvement requires reliable baseline data, transparent disposal processes and follow-up after the campaign period ends.
