EDITORIAL STANDARDS

Editorial Policy

The Indiqa aims to publish accurate, clearly sourced and context-rich journalism while keeping news, explanation and opinion distinct.

Accuracy and verification

We aim to verify factual claims against reliable primary or well-established sources before publication. When a story depends on a developing situation, we distinguish confirmed information from what remains uncertain.

Sources and attribution

Where practical, articles link to or identify official documents, institutions, public records or reputable reporting used as source material. Quotes, statistics and claims should be attributed in a way that lets readers understand where the information came from.

News, explainers and opinion

Straight news should focus on verified facts. Explainers add background and context. Opinion or perspective content should be labelled so that analysis is not presented as neutral reporting.

Updates and corrections

Material factual errors should be corrected promptly after verification. Significant updates should use an updated timestamp or a correction note when that context is useful to readers. See our Corrections Policy for how to report an issue.

Digital and AI-assisted tools

Digital or AI-assisted tools may be used to support research, production, translation or workflow. Editorial responsibility for the published material remains with The Indiqa, and factual claims should still be checked against reliable sources.
